Hi whtsapp friends,
For some avid readers, like me, books are our companion in every phase of life. Sometimes to go in a world of fantasies. Sometimes to unwind. Sometimes to relive that story again. I believe that I have a decent collection of books but I was struggling to carry them while traveling. So I tried the millennial way of outsourcing this task to my phone. For a few months, I started to read ebooks from my phone which has a decent 6-inch display but honestly I didn't like the experience for 2 reasons...
- I couldn't read continuously for hours due to screen brightness. And yes I tried adjusting brightness and night modes but it just didn't cut it for me.
- The constant notifications from social media apps were too distracting. So I bought an eBook reader online. Trust me it is awesome! You can carry n number of books. But when I am at home I prefer paperback :).
Honestly, my first thought was why spend that extra amount of money on a digital reader? I had tried the device in electronic stores in malls but was not sure if it worth the investment. After much procrastinating luckily I ordered one from Amazon just before lockdown. Phew!! Trust me it is awesome! No more strain on eyes and irritating notifications.
